Daniel Cody's Plan for Milwaukee County

Daniel Cody has a strong vision for Milwaukee County and possesses the leadership skills required to make those visions a reality. While some elected officials are content with the status quo, Daniel Cody promises to put politics as usual aside and do what's best for Milwaukee County.

Daniel Cody's vision revolves around three major points:

Clean up and Restore our Faith in County Government

  • Crack down on wasteful spending.
  • Bring oversight to overbudget and delayed information technology projects.
  • Shed light on Milwaukee County's chronic pension scandals.
  • Work closely with community groups, neighborhood associates and organizations.
  • Hold regular district listening sessions.

Invest in a Strong and Safe Infrastructure

  • Ensure that our bridges, roads, and highways are properly maintained.
  • Create jobs through investment in green technologies.
  • Work to create high speed commuter links with Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
  • Provide incentives and tax credits for alternative and renewable energy sources.
  • Utilize and support Milwaukee County transit to spur economic development and expand job opportunities.
  • Position County Government to take advantage of emerging green technologies.

Stand Up for Working Families and Strengthen Our Communities

  • Restore the Milwaukee County Parks system as one of the best in the nation.
  • Fully funding the Milwaukee County House of Correction to keep our families safe.
  • Help working families overcome the paycheck to paycheck plague.
  • Show teens and young adults the promise of a brighter future.
  • Foster healthy communities and public spaces.
  • Expand job training and career pathways.
